In March 2004 - long before YouTube, the 3rd International Bastard Pop Weekender took place in the beautiful town of Trier, Germany. Unfortunately, it was invaded by Brits who liked to drink. Fortunately, they were all great mashup artists and DJ-producers.
Bastard Pop or Bootlegging, as it was known back then was pretty much in it's infancy and these guys were at the forefront of this homegrown scene with some amazing mashups and some of the first ever live video mashups to be seen by a club crowd.
Thriftshop XL made this film to help document the history of this ever-growing scene and release it on DVD, selling copies right across the globe, from San Francisco to Brazil and Australia and Singapore.
All these years later, we thought it was time to put it on the world's largest video-sharing site for the world to see once more.
