@Mr3AE im seven weeks i feel fine , back to exercising and full duties at work , though the first week and a half is a bummer ... some advice eat prunes as you cannot push when you need to empty your bowles and the pain killers you take home will make you constipated
i have to have this surgery done in two weeks. does it really feel like how you guys are saying it does? and how do you guys feel now after a few months?
I just had this surgery on Monday morning and its now wednesday evening. I was so sore after surgery I could not stand or sit without assistance. Ive done 200 situps before and it felt nothing like that, more like recovering from a knife wound. Today i can get up and sit and walk on my own but i have to support my self. The biggest issue I had was getting my bowles moving again, went like 3 days without a bowel movement. Just had it an hour ago, after taking 6 stool softeners, 2 a day since mon

I had this procedure done 9 days ago. I'm a 6 foot tall slim male. Here's how I felt after the morning operation..
1. Immediate after, little pain, walked to car and up stairs.
1a. Later that day felt pressure rather than pain. If felt like I did a couple hundred sit-up. I took 1/2 a Vicodin before bed to sleep.
2. Day 2 , Have "pressure" feeling, not pain.
3-6. "Pressure" feeling reduces over several days, sleep is easier
7. Nearly back to normal, but getting fat from to much sitting!
