Rendition?? This is the flippin original of one of the most gorgeous songs ever written. Totally blows away the Eva Cassidy (crappy version) with its awful guitar. No one does this song like Christine!!

@Newzchspy I know this is the original version, I was just saying it was a rendition as the recorded version from Rumours had Lindsay Buckingham on guitar in the background accompanying Christine's piano. No one will ever sing this song better than Christine McVie.

P.S.: on that DVD ("Fleetwood Mac, Rumours, Recounting the Journey of a legendary music recording"), John and Mick recount how at the end of live performances - which usually concluded w/this song - they both would be standing back stage watching her sing it with tears streaming down their faces.

I agree, one of the most beautiful songs ever recorded....

(And when you consider what was happening between the members of the band during the recording of the album Rumours, it just amazing.)

I highly recommend the DVD, "Fleetwood Mac Rumours," re. the making of the album which includes the songs and their commentary on the emotional maelstrom taking place while they struggled to produce this monumental album.

FM has always been about Stevie for me...but no one can compare to the lovely Christine..she is a star in her own right. I had never heard this song before..don't know how it escaped me..but I'm glad I did today. It reminds me how deeply you can love somebody..and how they can mean the world to you.

This was te encore at a FM concert I went to about 20 years ago. I remember I had tears in my eyes as I watched and listened to this mesmerizing rendition. I fell in love with Christine's voice that night. I'd love to listen to her all night...
