South Koreans spend up to 12 hours a day playing computer games. It's an addiction that in some cases is proving fatal. It's estimated that there are more than a thousand professional 'gamers' in Korea. Most live in dormitories, spending virtually all their waking life in front of a computer screen. Computer companies spend millions supporting and training the gamers. But is this national sport really good for the country.

Gotta remember 1) the year it was filmed was 2002-2003 - and 2) the original target audience was the general public. Most television shows are patronising in some way or another because they cannot discriminate.
