The Tu-Tones - Perform Jimmy Reed's "Take Out Some Insurance" live at La Buena Vida Vineyards January 22, 2009. Mr. 18 Karat & Stompin' Bill Johnston. Harmonica - Guitar - Drums - Vocals.
I hear yah! You've really got a great sound there. The closest thing I've heared to the great man himself! How about sharing some of those guitar licks?
I'm glad to hear you like Mr. Reed. He is one of my favorite's too. I'll try in the future to show the few things I do know about Mr. Reed's playing. I think his shuffle feel is the most important playing feature he presents. Even without drums backing him up, you can hear his great relaxed shuffle he lays down.
Count the notes "ah1-ah2-ah3-ah4" as you play along with some of his songs. It's just that easy!

Closest thing to Mississippi-Chicago bluesman that I've heard. Very good, both of you.
