They were going to make a Halo Movie; although, they never had enough money to do so. So they spent the money on Discrict 9

@MultiBaller0 the movie got shut down because they ran into a lot of copy right laws and profit issues between fox and universal the Halo 3 trailers are from what was left of the movie and peter Jackson got fed up with it and quit

@Acrazycracker64 they cancled it in 2008 but legendary said that they are going to make it but they said you see a trailer for that movie for about a year

The movie was canceled.

They realized that they would make more money making games than making movies.

What would you rather enjoy? Halo 4? Or the Halo Movie? Think about what you can do in games, play as much as you want, different things happen if you replay, and Multiplayer.
