Barbara's Song: William Ackerman Cover

Bittersweet, beautiful song. My version could be euphemistically called "Variations on a Theme of Ackerman" due to the several parts I couldn't figure out by ear. I corresponded with William Ackerman by email, and he offered to help me figure it out, but I was too intimidated and passed on a lifetime opportunity. Open minor tuning - weird effect on the guitar to me. Video is various sea images, some showing that we don't have any need to invent "alien" visitors to earth - they are already here.

that is essentially what i use, although i often start on C# and flesh out the minor chord opn tuning to make it quick to tune to other songs i like to play - less individual string retuning
