You know when you start branding yourself, you need to be out in the social networks: Youtube, Facebook, Twitter, and Myspace.

The first thing someone will do when they find you on the internet is Google your name. Then they will go to the social networks and see how many friends and followers you have.

You know you need lots of friends and followers if you want people to listen to you. We are going to concentrate on Facebook here. There are a couple of ways that I get friends on Facebook.

First of all, I join groups that are in my same niche. I start sending people that are in those groups friend requests. I send no more than 30 a day. You do not want to be slapped by Facebook. Do this everyday.

I sometime become a fan of a page that is in my same niche and send friend request to those people to.

I always send a message with each friend request. Something like: I see we have similar interests. I look forward to connecting with you.

When someone accepts my request, I send them another message: Thanks for adding me as a friend. I look forward to connecting with you. I do NOT a message like this: Thanks for adding me as a friend. If you want to make lots of money then click here. That is SPAM! Dont do it.

Be sincere with your friend request. You will get to know more people that way. Once you connect with people in this manner, you will make more friends. People like doing business with friends. Just keep that in mind.
