NKOTB Backstage Pass

Jon, Danny & Joe came straight from the airport to visit the fans in line after the cancellation of the Today Show performance for Labor Day.

Story: Security & Today Show producers told fans the performance was cancelled and wanted the fans to move. Fans argued that they couldn't move because NKOTB were coming to see them and if they moved, they wouldn't know where to find them. Producers & security didn't believe the fans. Fans fought to stay & were threatened by security that they would be arrested if they didn't move. When producers talked to NKOTB, they found that NKOTB really were coming down, and straight from the airport. The guys landed & said they were coming to see the fans and then the producers said, "Your fans told us you would come and we didn't believe them." NKOTB had no idea fans were being told to leave. They didn't want to stop at any the hotel first. NKOTB to producers said, "They know us." Fans knew NKOTB wouldn't leave them out there.

This. This story. THIS moment right here is why I love this band. Why can't any of the naysayers understand that?
