Agnostics who do not believe in Islam - Yasir Qadhi

"What if a non-Muslim, who does not necessarily believe in Islam but does believe that God exists, what if his actions and deeds have been good and well-intentioned in this world? Will he still be admitted into Jannah? Or will he be thrown into Hellfire just because he didn't believe in Islam even though everything else that he did in this life turned out to be good and he's remembered for that?" Also, how do we explain the materialism of Jannah to non-Muslims?

if there is god(s) it doesn't matter if all human being are atheist or believe in the wrong god(s), it still exists without any requirement of human worshipers

if there is no god(s), it doesn't matter if we have thousands of religions because it wont exists anyway.

Anyway, christianity and islam (and judaism actually) have a lot more in common than it with hinduism, since they share the common god, the god of abraham

actually any belief systems be it in theism or atheism claim to be on intellectual basis and provide rational explanation for all of their teaching. Otherwise people will abandon the belief at some point if there is nothing more than faith alone.

Anyway you are of course encouraged to believe in anything you want, as long as it makes you a better person. Only that's matter

@harusame80 you have to stop thinking that all theists puts the Creator as god of the gaps. That might be the case in Christianity and hinduism as well as Atheism where faith is needed. Infact we muslims come to believe in God after an intellectual analysis of our surroundings, what has been revealed to us humans and our rational instincts. Although I would agree that we cannt point God but after our observations and understandins of nature, cosmos and complexity of minds, we can come to reason.

nature phenomena might be consistent, but it might be not

nature science is not math, where 1+1 always results in 2

if you ask me if something is behind those phenomena, the answer is i don't know, neither do you. Although you believe you do

Some of us choose not to believe due to the evidence, but yet when it comes to presumptions of theories, we believe blindly. ironicly it is more irrational to believe in unknown than what has been revealed to us. why we want to live longer is called survival instinct, one of the basic instinct all organism have

however, cells also have something called programmed cell death, means everything must come at an end for the better sake

i would want to live longer after my death in the heart of people my friends, families and people who know me, but definitely not in some afterlife place

@hannahr77 You must know it is God that is all Wise and knows the best. What you are exposed to is modern Christianity. Infact the followers of Jesus were called Nazarines thus Jesus from Nazareth. Look back in history and stop presuming things. Just like ppl are exposed to Truth but some dont wanna accept this has repeated over history all the time. The ppl before Islam had the proper teachings of Jesus or some true followers who were inspiring. Ppl also had signs through catastrophe

@harusame80 I must ask you then why is it that you seek to treasure a moment? Thus its precious for you; similarly despite the world being filled with problems you still wish to live longer, why? Subconciously you do not realise that you have accepted the timeframe of each individual n as always our mind dont like changes. So you just cannt think properly about living longer thus time is given to us for reflection. Heavens isnt comprehensive, just a tree shadow surpasses 100 000 yrs
