  • How much did the servo drives and servo motors cost each?

I made the smooth stepper and lathe pulse indexer purchase an hour ago:) I am looking for a BOB with it . My application :- CNC lathe with 8 tool turret and second turret with ID & OD Grinding combined :D

  • @justlivemyway I got these servos for free. I have looked into the cost of replacing them and they are very expensive.

There really isnt a breakout board that will play nicely with these. I ended up making my own to suit the packs.

  • haha, cnc control with a mac, nice. Bootcamp??

    beautiful servos

  • @chicoxiba I was actually running this in Parallels. I was surprised at how well it did. I love the servos. Even the little one cant be stopped by hand. :)

  • Hello I´m interested to learn how did you make the wiring, did you need a special breakout to move those servomotors, I am asking because i have a Mori Seiki turning center than i can´t make to run well it has a lot of parameter and setting troubles and i´m tired to expend time working with old CNC language you know G50´s, well if you can show me how did you plug the servodrivers to your computer i appreciate a lot your help, thank you and I hope to have luck with my lathe, best regards

What problems have u faced with the C23 BOB ? I told Arturo that he should not ship my order until I complete my electronics buy.

Making own BOB sounds like a good idea :):)

A friend of mine is working on 5Amp Drivers for Nema 23 bipolar steppers. I am gonna make my own drivers after he completes them :D
