110 gallon. 6 discus. 12 red rainbows. 1 spotted medusa pleco L-255, 1 golden nugget pleco L-018, Snowball pleco LDA-033. 96w compact flouro. fluval 405 and Emperor 400. 600w of heaters 86-87 F temp. Various live plants. 50% water change gones down every 5-7 days.

  • how do you maintain the water?

    dont you need weeklywater changes with

    drinking water?

  • I do water changes about once every two weeks or so, usually 50%. There is less discus fish in there now. I use my tap water because it is good quality.

  • I have a few breeding pairs, some in other tanks, lots of eggs laid, no luck yet with fry.

  • Perhaps it's your PH?? Or is it just no luck?

  • usually the eggs get eaten..

  • wow kool tnk, i just setup a 110 gal tank, not a barebottom, i have gravel plants and mangrove root wood, it will be a discus tank once it has cycled, i am using neons to cycleit at the moment, have a look at my latest vid.
