Moro reflex is a startle reflex, which often can be observed in children as well as adults. Children with still active MR may present oversensitivity to light, sound and are easily scared, may feel insecure, anxious or timid.
This really does work. We've been doing "the starfish" for 12 weeks now and it has reduced my son's tactile defensiveness and helped calm him. He has had very significant sensory processing/integration problems since infancy and this is the only thing that is FINALLY helping it.
