Phil Lynott and his post-Lizzy band, Grand Slam, toured extensively for 9 months in 1984. They played the Nostell Priory Festival on 8/27/1984, debuting the song "Crazy". Laurence Archer is featured on guitar. Enjoy!

  • hahahaha look at my dads hair!!! how funny!!!

  • Which one was your dad?

  • hence the word bootleg

  • LOL, I know. I almost have to laugh at these people that give it 1-3 stars because of sound quality. They obviously do not understand the significance of these recordings. Besides, for a bootleg, this isn't bad at all. I've heard much, much worse.

  • So great, it makes me shiver! Thank´s for sharing mate!!!

  • what an awesome song!! really like this version better than the demo

  • From a business perspective, that kinda makes sense. Grand Slam would probably never be able to do Thin Lizzy, and many fans probably would've not liked seeing Phil doin another band aside from Lizzy (something I saw discussed with him in an interview) so maybe they thought there wasn't as much benefit in signing Grand Slam?

  • I was at this concert it was amazing. Marillion were headlining and were brilliant and Alvin Lee whose bassist kept the whole thing going for ten minutes alone while Alvin changed a string on his guitar. Met Fish and Steve Rothery in the crowd. What a day.

  • this song is AWESOME, cheers for posting this dude

  • It probably was recorded with a..*Gasp* hand-held recorder with a ....hold your ears...cassette tape inside. Classic!

I wish i would have been able to see these guys live. You can tell even by the "quality" that they put on one heck of a live show.
