i think Doctor Who 'works that way' for more then just children because it brings out the child in everybody. I'm a 20 year old in college and i write Doctor Who stories! (which makes me a bit sad at the age restrictions of the Doctor Who contests--give us big kids a chance! lol)

The thing about the roof of one of the studios being the inspiration for the inside of the TARDIS at the BBC is true! When you take the tour of the BBC they show you the set for Blue Peter, then tell you to look up.
