Here's a demo of my valve junior head(no mods) with my Amer. Std. Tele. I'm running the head through a Marshall 1965a cab that's 4x10. I'm using the mic from the digital camera and there is a good amount of natural reverb from being in the garage, but no fx used just plugged straight into the amp.
Nothing special here just some short blues riffs and chord stuff to show the amp with diff pickups and guitars.

  • What is the impedance of the head? Can I connect it to a Marshall 8 Ohm speaker?

  • @MrMorelloJr It has a 4, 8, and 16 ohm tap available

  • Do you think it's better than Black heart 5W head? I want to buy one of these but both sound great.

  • I've only tried one of the Black Heart heads and compared it side by side with my valve jr. The Black heart head that I tried had some noise issues like a grounding noise but that could just be that one. Not really sure tho, if you can, try and actually play through both first.

  • would you recommend this for an advanced player? im thinking of this head, with a Line 6 cabinet

  • I'd def. recommend it for both advanced and beginners. It sound great and is very portable.

  • This amp is superb. I changed the tubes and has amazing tone and is very loud for 5w

  • most descriptive vid yet!!!! this little head is a genuine piece of the rock! I'm sooo getting one

  • @Sauerapple the volume knob on this amp pretty much just overdrives the preamp. it effects the volume a little, but once you turn it to about 9 o'clock its almost all drive. you have to mic it to play with a band, but it makes a great practice amp!

  • Does the volume change much as you turn the amp up or just gets dirtier? Volume sounds pretty constant as you adjust the volume on the amp, just more gain.

  • would overdrive be a pointless pedal to use with this? (OVERDRIVE, NOT DISTORTION)
