Church bay is one of my fave places for seascapes..living on the island sure helps :) now I've got a 5dmk2 and an Ipad hmmm pass me the cheque book!!
-
hmmm can you use the ipad as a field monitor for videos?
-
@thedevo01 Not that I know of but there might be app developers working on it

Is there a way to use the iPad as an LCD on the camera?
To see videos being recorded (at that moment) on the screen of the iPad.

raw files would take like 20+ seconds to transfer... seems like a lot of expense for a larger lcd.

@DCassidy42 That's why it lets you shoot RAW + Small JPEG. 90% of the time tethering is not for my benefit, but so that the client can see what I'm shooting without having to be over my shoulder squinting at the back of my camera

@EgnerPhotography why does the client need to immediately see what it is that you are shooting?

@DCassidy42 To make sure their product/model/building/whatever looks how they want it to

@GodIsAGirlz It's not something I've looked into. Shuttersnitch definitely can't do it at the moment. There might be other apps out there or in development, but I don't think the canon hardware/firmware would make this a possibility.
