typo: Should be THE beauty in music is the emotion that it evokes.... it's simply the way everything pieces together to capture a very pure and specific mood. Simple to me is found in a lot of club music. Idaho is absolutely a "less is more" band, but not necessarily simple. Try figuring out their guitar tabs after you figure out how to tune your guitar. That's just getting started.

I see all these posts about this song being "simple." Jeff and this band use tenor guitars and tune them uniquely. They use the just right effects and equipment to get that beautiful harmonic feedback that fits so perfectly. It's just as complex as it is simple. But, I have made the arguement many times that they beauty in music is the emotion that it evokes and often times, it's just as easily done by a "simple" melody.
