@niuchemist, like I said, there are good points on each side of this complex issue. Although the python invasion has been hyped quite a bit, it is still a real problem, and a point many make is that saving native species is more important than being humane to the invasive ones.

This is not an attack the guy is provoking the snake. Not an attack.

Just because it's invasive does not mean it should be killed. It did not choose to be relocated to the wilderness of the southeast U.S. It is doing all it knows to do- survive. This is a complex issue, and there are good points on each side. It cannot be simplified to where the animal happens to be.
This man has training and balls. Python bites hurt like hell.
