Interesting project using UTEE , but please visit Suze Weinberg video's for proper use and care. She even has a video sold at most craft stores on all the uses of the melting pot.

Great idea, love it. I got a melting pot three months ago and I still have not used it because I'm scared to try it. After watching different techniques I'm going to try yours first. Why is a glass jar better than a plastic jar to store the left over UTEE.

@glitterglamscrapper When I store the left over utee, often times it is still warm, that is why I use a glass jar. It isn't necessary, just what I like. I hope you'll enjoy this technique it is fun and easy to do!
