Woman Sobs Uncontrollably at the Surprise Return of Her Husband, a U.S. Army Soldier

"Where to begin! My husband surprised me two days after Mother's Day. I had been bugging him for months about when he would be able to come home, and he had me totally convinced that he was not going to be able to come at all. I had a feeling something was up a few days before because his entire family was coming to town, including his brother Jim (who is also Army and was coming home from Europe). But they all convinced me the surprise was really Jim coming back early, and not my husband coming home. His mom had come to our house for dinner, and I even looked in the back of her pickup for somebody back there... but didn't find him. Little did I know everybody else was parking down the street and getting ready to sneak up to the house.

The moment I saw him was just unreal. I remember reaching into my fridge for some drinks and getting up to hand one to my mother-in-law, and then I saw the boots, the uniform, and then the face. It was just complete joy, disbelief and relief, which is why I fell on the floor and sobbed uncontrollably. Anyways, it was the surprise of a lifetime, me and my girls had missed him soooooo much, and it was amazing. We had an amazing R&R, and our two little girls loved having daddy back. We're reaching the end of the deployment :)"
