I only saw a little bit of advent children but it seems as if his personality is completely different in kingdom hearts. idk why, it just seems like it

Advent Children is a direct sequel to the original game, Final Fantasy VII. In the game, Cloud faces a lot of hardship and Advent Children shows the aftermath of it. Kingdom Hearts isn't connected to Cloud's original storyline except for his rivalry with Sephiroth and connection to Aerith.

@mundayfan94 Advent Children was released roughly 8 years after the original game. The movie mostly deals with the aftermath of the events that took place in the game, such as Cloud's guilt over Zack & Aerith's death, the after effects of Meteor, and Sephiroth's on going presence.

@antix995 Yes. though events in Crisis Core can cause conflict with the events that occur in the original game. For the sake of understanding the story as it should be, it's best to play Final Fantasy VII, then Crisis Core. CC was released around 11 years after the original game, so some of the original storyline was altered to fit the world of CC.

This is so beautiful! It so fits Cloud's story. Although I'm not a Claerith supporter, this is too true. Cloud regrets losing Zack and Aerith, and he wishes that he could bring them back. It doesn't matter if he loves Aerith or Tifa, this is true.
