my whole system

i have... a Kenwood deck, 4 Infinity 6x8s, Rockford Fosgate 400.4, Kicker L7 10" w/ Kicker box, Rockford Fosgate T3002, Lighting Audio 1 frad cap, and a Rockford Fosgate 4ga wire kit running it all. best system i have had by far! no one believes its a 10" or that theres only one! livin loud!

yo i have the same exact amp and i was running it to a alpine type S 12 inch sub and it blew it...its suppose to be a 300 watt amp but a lot of people say it pushes out more than that..is that true?

@jarred3636 the amp is rated at 300 watts so that in a comp you can go in a lower class. my amp tested at 946 watts RMS @ 2ohms. i mean i had this amp on a 15" Kicker L7. i had it turned up just under half way and still blew the speaker. but that was only after having the speaker on the amp for mounths. i just played it up to loud for like 2 hours on my way home from the beach and the voice coil gave out....

@jarred3636 when Rockford Fosgate make the amps they test them all individually. so they all come with a birth sheet and that was what mine tested at from Rockford Fosgate. i think you can get amps tested at CarToys or MobileOne...

@big411daddy ohh..i bought this amp off my friend..right now i have an alpine type R 12 running to it but within the first 2 days i had it..i had my volume raised and it almost blew it..it started smelling like smoke so i turned it down..now im afraid to raise my volume

well if you go by the power rating i would go with the zx1000. it depends on how hard you are looking to push them. i think the zx1000 would do the speakers Justice. if the amp is to much for the speakers you can always turn it down...
