Yep the Young Ones - without a doubt Rik's best series (he co-wrote it with Ben Elton). Classic stuff. Compare Rik today with his TYO acne-ridden persona back in 1982 - huge difference. I would like to see Ade and Rik work together again too even if it isn't comedy but that isn't likely. Nothing beats those 2 in dark comedy!

Me and my mate Mick used to watch hours and hours of The Young Ones and never get bored of it. Un-touchable comedy, rest in peace Mick, my best mate!

Excellent! The Young Ones plus Madness - I loved both! Took me right back. As I'm sure you know, Madness were the only group to be on The Young Ones twice. (Still, I can't deny that 'Ace Of Spades' was the best musical interlude though.)
