My brother used to sing this song to me, but he sang "cross eyed Dawnie" because that is my name and I was cross eyed until my eye operation when I was 5. My mother was not happy about these lyrics though... :) Nope, no kicks from little boys...hehehe.

@hombage147852 rock n roll died when the big record labels got hold of it, the song have a cigar points to the payola problem in the industry. People like simple melodies, not complicated music that requires thought.

@coltoniscoolyall I'm not sure you knew this, but Lady Gaga is actually quite tapped into the classic rock scene. She's performed with the likes of Elton John and Brian May (The lead guitarist from Queen.) and is reportedly being considered for a job as the lead singer of Queen. Her stage name is derived from a Queen song ("Radio Gaga.") and her act and music were heavily influenced by both Freddie Mercury and David Bowie.

@hombage147852 No, you will. Believe it or not, rock and roll is not dead. Bands like Muse, The Black Angels, Flogging Molly, and Threshold still create it quite often. They aren't even the only ones. I even like some mainstream musicians. Were you perchance aware that Justin Bieber is rapidly losing his audience? His last chart bid was a Christmas album, which is the cheapest way to get back into the public eye. You don't have to write a lot of songs, and people will buy it.

As much as i dont care for pop im getting really sick of people complaining about today's music and mentioning Bieber and Gaga as if they are literally the only two artist around. They don't even have anything to do with rock anyway so if your gonna make a comparison to today's music at least compare them to people of their own genre
