Moon of Times

It is a short diary movie that tries to reflects on the lost of memory in the age of information. It was conceived for my university module on Film and Memory.

The film in itself is a collage of news images, films and my own footage. I have used this device to illustrate how the media shapes our memories (prothetic memories) and at the same time how we live in a stage of non-memory, living our everyday spectacle and having no memory due the media in its intent for bring more and more news to us leaves no gap to reflection. And in this frenetic movement of modern life we end forgetting things that make us more human.
