This is what happens when I play my PAL version of Diddy Kong Racing using an NTSC version boot code on my PAL N64. This time it definitely is an NTSC signal because of the black and white image. Prepare for some weird mess ups in the sound at some points. :P
The reason I have shown this is because of the times I have for the levels. Quite a few of them are WRs! I guess I am damn good at this game!
Actually the reason is because the times have been converted to their NTSC counterpart. This is done by dividing by 1.2. However, Diddy Kong Racing is one of the games that has the timer adjusted so that it is the same on both the NTSC and the PAL versions, therefore there is no need for any dividing. In other words, the times will be the same for both versions of the game
So basically the Passport has forced my PAL version of the game into thinking it is the NTSC version and done what it thought was right. Hahaha. Hmm....maybe I should submit these times to Cyberscore! :P
