On our little ranch, nestled up against the Pecos wilderness in
northern New Mexico, approximately 30 miles from Santa Fe "The City
Different", we've recently embarked on a distinctly different approach
to farming. Our family is raising heritage Large Black Hogs the way
pigs used to be raised--on sunshine and grass, when food was still
food, and these animals spent their lives on the land, not in factory
farm pens. Our goal is to produce superior registered breeding stock
and all natural, grass fed heritage pork while working to preserve this
rare, old world breed.
