@ouwelul222 This is just a poor quality video, neither of these guys actually sound like this. Go listen to any of the videos on the side of alessi or lindberg if you want to know what they sound like. That's fine if you prefer jazz, but don't make your opinion based on this video.

Guys, you can't compare jazz trombonists to classical trombonists. It's a completely different style, they come with different feelings, and the players have different sounds and different ways of going about playing. They're different worlds.

Heeeeeey ouwelul222. Shut up. These two are amazing. The top trombone players in the world right now. You say you don't like classical... Well where the hell do you think jj got his inspiration from??? It's different styles. Listen to any one of these two on another solo and their tone almost over passes JJ's. Am I dissing JJ? Nope. He's my hero. Just don't dis these two.

Mastodon, the best trombone player in the world was Carl Fontana....Carl eclipsed JJJohnson who pioneered the modern jazz trombone style....

I don't like 'classical trombone' whatever that is....

These guys look and sound angry, like they have something to prove!

I may play Trumpet but MY EARS CAN NOT HANDLE THEIR COMBINED MUSICALITY!!!!!!!! To me it doesn't matter what instrument you play as long as you make great music with it.
