I bet she is. I am a native Minnesotan, we are all awesome. I just thought it was an incredibly ironic intro considering that the USSR fell only a year and a half later.

I would also like to know what song they were singing in the intro. "We are tomorrow?" There are some really good songs that were used during pageant openings and performances through the 80s. I know that Spunkadelic - 9.95 was used later in this pageant.
