  • I know this is from a while ago, but can you give me any directions or pointers as to how you made those legs?! They are amazingly fluent when you bend your knees and walk and I want to know how to make them for future costumes :)

  • @katinka0921 I started off with very thin sheets of panel board that you see on the walls of old houses. Then I cut out the "holes" in each section to remove extra weight. To link the upper and lower sections together, I started off with a "swivel wheel" used on the bottom of an old desk chair. The wheel spins on the ball bearings, and rotates. So I mounted that in between the leg sections so the leg could easily move in any direction.
