A film by Susan Cohn Rockefeller produced in association with We Are Family Foundation, this documentary will examine the healing force of music as a healing force for all people from different walks of life. It will follow Nell Bryden and her band to Iraq where they will play for the troops. This vantage point will provide insight into how the troops are coping and how they feel less homesick when music is played, amongst other things. It will be produced as a montage of short sound bytes from various deployed troops and show the unifying and important part music plays in our lives despite political viewpoints.
STRIKING A CHORD is due for release in 2010!
What a superstar Nell is. Good on her for going to Iraq when the rest of her band pulled out. I love her album and recommend it to everyone who likes a bit of jazz/Blues/Counrty all in one. It's wonderful.

Great music! Great voice! my only caveat: audio recorded too hot.
