  • It's funny that you never learn about this shit until you leave school. You get this impression that Europeans discovered the world and led innovations in all sorts of areas of study and were geniuses and civilized all the barbarous parts of the world.

No one ever talks about all the other civilizations like the Arabs inventing algebra or the Chinese marine dominance. Pitiful. I'm sure most kids in high school would tell you that Europeans were the first people to discover other lands by sea.

  • once again, china's history was destroyed by ITS POLITICIANS..

  • There are some records, not much, and few relics left behind from the visits by the Chinese fleets in Singapore. When the British fleets arrived in Singapore, there was still a Dragon's Teeth monument relic set up by the Chinese fleets. The British Navy demolished it to impose an absolute British presence on the island.

  • I recommend people read Gavin Menzie's best selling books. The first is "1421: The Year that the Chinese Discovered America" , the second is "1434: The Year a Magnificent Chinese Fleet Sailed to Italy and Ignited the Renaissance". Western history is too eurocentric. It needs to be rewritten. Glen Beck points to these 2 books on his show. Search for: Glenn Beck Show (January 14, 2011): China's Rise, America's Fall?

  • He was a eunuch. From what I read, it was sort of a complicated story of why but then I'm still trying to learn about this man.
