BP Oil Spill - Pensacola, FL (Pt. 4)

A view of Pensacola Beach this weekend - Week 4 of the Deep Water Horizon Explosion. BP has proven that they do not have the capability to handle a deep water disaster. All deep water drilling needs to cease! Period! End of story! We are killing the planet. We are the keepers of the Earth ~ it's time to start acting like it.

We need off shore drilling - we just need to do it safer. Jobs, energy, and more. If you don't use oil you can oppose drilling but since your all on the computer/phone to update this - guess what the plastic is made from - oil. Great job with the manarays - I also wondered why I saw so many recently on the shores of Panama City Beach. Way more than normal.

@windowsvistasuxalot NO WE DON'T NEED OFFSHORE DRILLING! IT'S PROVEN THAT THE OIL COMPANIES HAVEN'T A CLUE AS TO HOW TO CLEAN UP THE OIL LET ALONE HOW TO STOP A LEAK. THEY'VE BEEN USING THE EXACT SAME TECHNIQUES THAT THEY USED IN 1979. THEY DIDN'T WORK THEN, AND THEY DON'T WORK NOW. WHAT'S THAT TELL YOU? NOT TO MENTION, WE'VE HAD THE TECHNOLOGY FOR WELL OVER 30 YEARS THAT WOULD STOP OUR DEPENDENCE ON OIL!

No Smells, No oil ~ but dead sea life is still washing ashore. They are cleaning the beaches at the break of dawn (for the tourist). And a close friend of mine went out to the beach today and said there are hundreds of Mana Rays & Sting Rays swimming near the shorline, like in this video. It's not unusual to see 10 at a time, but not 100's

I BEG TO DIFFER,WE DO NOT NEED OFF SHORE DRILLING,IT IS A CHOICE. GUESS WHAT,I also know what plastic is made from,you dont have to drill in the Ocean to get the oil needed for such things. We will have plenty of oil for plastics. WE NEED CLEAN TRANSPORTATION TO BRING DOWN OIL CONSUMPTION SO BACK IN YOUR FACE DUDE. THE BIG DEAL HERE IS TO STOP BEING SO GREEDY! If someone can do what they love and still put food on our table and pay our own bills, then it sounds more like jealousy on your part than concern for the Earth. This should be a wake up call to everyone, not just who you designate to be selfish.

the marine life is being driven in by the lack of oxogen (from the oil.)..it is in east bay. rivers and creeks next...if deep water drilling is going to continue there has to be a plan for what if's......ALL WHAT IFS... this is my home,my back yard... i have only left my footprints and thats all we should leave...lets ALL pray and mean it,god help us
