My new exhaust!

I had a Tenzo R muffler which was kind of ricy and didn't last very long. If one were to get can exhausts, don't go cheap, as they burn out easily. The old one only lasted a year.

Exhaust set up:
-Borla Headers
-2.25" piping
-12" vibrant performance resonator
-Apex-i N1 muffler with 3.5" tip

This muffler retails for about $200, pricy, but worth it.

It tends to be less quiet compared to other N1 mufflers, but it isn't a fart can.

This muffler has a nice deep tone to it, and very throaty compared to other can mufflers.

It has a break in period, as when I first got it, it sounded nearly stock!

STi engine is in my garage!! Hopefully I'll get a bunch of people to help me this year during breaks.

  • WHY DOES EVERYONE IN EXHAUST VIDS HAVE FLIP FLOPS ON?!?!

  • @Z3CHYD

    Because it was summer?

The best time to take exhaust videos!

Notice also no one makes an exhaust video during the winter.

  • @Da1RiSiN1sMoKe haha i just watched 10 exhaust clips in a row and every single one had flip flops on lol. But anyways you got a nice exhaust man i like it

  • @Z3CHYD

I know, your car is awesome. But I have a Type-R STi engine and drivetrain waiting to go in!

  • well put together and thought out

  • Cant wait for that.....

  • yours by far sounds the best

it has a great sound does'nt sound like a fart coannon "poot poot"

  • Thanks, well all subarus have the boxer engine, so it will sound beastly nonetheless.

However, the deep burble comes from the unequal length headers. Otherwise, it would sound like a nissan or a honda.
