i pretty sure i can get the sales talk from olympus them selves. I heard this thing was crap from about 3 sources that actually tested it. From what it sounds like (i had the stylus tough 3000) the lower models are somehow tougher then the 8010, or rather at least the 3000 is from my real world experience as compared to the lens jaming screen cracking and lens cracking ive seen with the 8010
