Chescaleigh's viral video "Sh!t White Girls Say To Black Girls" was met with criticism and praise. The biggest issue was popular vlogger Perez Hilton posting her video on his website. No harm right? Wrong. He RIPPED the video instead of embedding it and made no reference to Chescaleigh and the team who produced the video. More wrongs: Chescaleigh was losing Adsense revenue since the video was not pointing back to her YouTube channel.

Lessons learned:
1. Make quality content. You never know when a video will go viral!
2. Watermark all content uploaded to the Internet. You never know where your video will end up embedded or ripped!

How do u watermark vids as well?

@TheNaprika You're using a Mac right? The simplest way to watermark is to just use the Title function to put your name or logo in the video and let it run the length of the video. I have been working on a video for this but got slowed down by the demands of work. Ugh! LOL!

@whoissugar I did my first floating watermark. Lol. I don't know if its distracting but it is on my back to nappy/kinky/natural video I'll be posting tomorrow. Not sure what the title of the vid will be but something like that. Good Luck. We should all get credit for our stuff.
