  • Can I use your clip to object to the HS2 route going thru an area of outstanding

beauty thru the Chilterns - I have an original song approx 3 mins long

  • @hampermill Sorry no. I don't give anybody permission to use any of my material.

  • wher did you film this?

  • @class66arecool Between Rainham and Purfleet

  • was this on rainham bridge if so would it be possible to use a tripod

  • @Class390032 Its nearer Purfleet, A1090 Tank Hill Road. Yes you can use a tripod.

    Best of luck.

  • Absolutely stunning views, great video. What a pity that this country has lagged so far behind on building high speed lines such as HS1. I feel sure we would have tempted more people out of their cars if we had built a network of rapid lines like this over Britain leaving the existing network open to fast freight & slower stopping trains and negating the need for useless & costly road widening and bypass schemes.

  • Javelin looks so cool than any Japanese domestic trains, for us Japanese too!!

I want to visit UK to see them someday.

  • lol i thougt this would be a clip where somebody shoots a train with a javelin, what a dissapointment:P

  • @hampermill We need HS2!

  • They built Hs1 all wrong, should of gone to waterloo and ebssfleet should never of been built.

  • Awesome video.

  • @TheSaintST1 WCML is built around lots of obstacles and if you ever travel to Rugby from London, you get a very sharp right hand bend to demonstrate this outside the town.Instead of straightening the tracks, the idea has been to re-employ tilting trains again (with spin-off technology built here and sold to the Italians). Speeds can be greater on the bends provided the tilt mech is operating.Older trains were restricted to 100mph. Trent valley is a full-fat 125mph- possibly 135mph in the future.

  • @Arriva2010 The trains in the UK have a speed limit of 125 and whether they are capable of going over this speed or not, they are physically/electronically limited.- two reasons, the drivers would find it difficult to physically see the signal, though not impossible,at greater speeds, and signal blocks would need to be much longer - this is a problem for commuter services or small Sprinter class trains that may share the line.

ECML can run 125 because of the straightness of the line in the north.
