@arandomperson123 Lol That not protected at all! And there is no gold there. I could even go there this week-end! Not that I want to: it is a very dangerous place to be and I'm not suicidal. However, it is illegal to move any remain or mechanical part: property of the government as a crash site regarding the army.
In fact, the only thing to protect there, except the law against marauding and geography, is a little plate of steel.

Can you tell ius anymore about the Canadien and US involvement in treasure smuggling after WWII? Whats at the bottom of the iceberg? So the main smuggling was done by the OSS before they became the CIA very interesting. Why did they kill patton? I suppose he would have known just how much gold was recovered as he would have perhaps been there or helped find acual nazi cache sites.

NO Gold, Gold was taken and hidden in old hotel's storage in Vancouver . Its cursed, believe it or not.
