  • @securemuff123 , Hi there, thanks for looking and your comment. I don't know if they still run events at this location, I have not been for over three years. It is actually a site based at Aston Cantlow, if you do a search for the Midland Rover Owners Club, you might find more info there.

  • hi is there a website for this place? is it still on? cheers

  • @drewy06 , this off road site is at Aston Cantlow, close to Henley in Arden. Its sometimes used by the MROC ( Midlands Rovers off road club) take a look at their website for future dates, and I hope you have fun!!

  • @nylonTS , thanks for looking and your comment. I can only agree that there does not seem any point, but all I can tell you is that is exactly the point. Your observation that this is a man thing is 100% correct, we just do this because its fun!! The fact is most land rover owners ( or even any other 4x4 owners!!) very rarely use their cars in such extreme off road conditions ( such as this off road day!!) so have no idea how capable their cars actually are, as both on road and off road cars.

  • @SalibaQ , my 90 V8 Defender was pretty standard as supplied from the factory. I did have proper off road tyres fitted though, which helped a lot!!

  • колея накатанная по нейв принципе и классика проскочит

  • @securemuff123 Try the Crieff Hydro Hotel, they have a good track for 4x4 and ATV's and other stuff!

  • cool but it aint clay.

  • @nigelpugh7 Tom Baker drove a landrover defender.

  • sounds sweet on that last bit :)

  • Beautiful. Im staying at a cottage here in Patagonia and the owner of this place have two of these abandoned in the backyard (a green one and a white one).... what a shame...

  • @nigelpugh7 Back in the 60s and 70s, here in the U.S., that was one fault with Land Rovers - they always came "under-tired". I remember my grandfather getting stuck on a ranch (we had actually already made it through a deep Florida cypress swamp) a few weeks after purchasing his second, a 1971 Model '88 petrol (a late IIA). He took it straight in and had larger all-terrain Goodyears installed.
