Cont......Fact: when "Still Water Christian Rock Band" was founded there were little or no internet references to the 70's rock band "Stillwater". The name "Still Water" was taken after relentless hours of research through national directories, Corporate and fictitous name searches and most important of all, prayer. The founders did not even know there was a band called "Stillwater" from the 70's. Thanks for your comments.

"Stillwater was a band from the 1970s, which played Southern rock. Originally the Jeff Bebe band but later changed to Stillwater, the group in disbanded 1982.
"Still Water" is a Florida based Christian Modern Rock band, a totally different Genre alltogether. The "Still Water" name was taken from Psalm 23 in the Bible. The band is in no way trying to take from this previous band regardless of simularities. Cont...

You guys shouldn't steal a band name from a band that was big in the early rock years. It's wrong. Look it up. Stillwater.
