Chesterton has gotten me through my life if, via nothing else, his lucid comment, "I think I shall not hang myself today." And amazing and amusing man.

Thank you so much for putting this up! :) G.K.C. is absolutely brilliant.

This man was awesome. "i'm not much of a crusader, but at least I'm not a Mohammedan"

"I'm not much of a Crusader but at least I'm not a Mohammedan"
Brilliant!
Long live Chesterton!
Long live the Crusades!

His voice distracts for a while from the significance of his presence, just as one becomes gradually aware of a very great weight coming through his light and sometimes intolerable style.
-
"If after all my Atheology turns out wrong and your Theology right I feel I shall always be able to pass into Heaven (if I want to) as a friend of G.K.C.'s. Bless you."
- HG Well's in a letter to GK Chesterton

everyone should read his books

He's buried a few miles from where I live, and I've been to his grave before.
-
I just noticed he is carrying two walking sticks, as he points out in his book WHAT I SAW IN AMERICA

Woah! Woah! Woah! FOOTAGE OF CHESTERTON?!?!?!?!
Is the newsreel of GKC available for purchase?

Pathe Films has it. It costs around $500 to get a high quality copy, and I don't think it comes with sound. I got the sound from a guy in Canada who got it from a different news agency in GB (I don't know which one).
I think it may also appear in Dale Alquist's GKC film which you can buy at his website. Google him.

Have you put out the CD?

Yep, it's available now not only on CD, but it's already starting to show up as MP3 downloads at various online distributers such as iTunes where you can get each of the four tracks for a dollar each. And I want to make it clear to everybody that I'm keeping these tracks in the public domain, so you can copy the CD for friends or use the tracks in documentaries or whatever for free.
