Actually, Wikipedia has been increasing in accuracy (search "Wikipedia survives research test" on the BBC). Since this is YouTube, and web citations are not allowed, I thought that it would be ok citing common knowledge from a less reliable source.
I learned all about St. Valentine in Sunday School, but if you want some more references:
2. Read the Wikipedia page on 'Valentine's Day.' A few of the legends of Saint Valentine involve Valentine being sent to jail and writing his first 'Valentine' from what today we would call Death Row.
why is this called 'ashcrash'? i thought it was shanashcrash? whoops!

search for valentine's day online
or
go to the library
or
ask a Catholic friend
We'll see who's laughing. :)
