This video IS NOT sped up and no marketing gimmicks. This is real-time video of a test flight showcasing the unreal performance of the KDE Direct 1917H/1Y-N42 S2 High-Performance Brushless Motor, the strength of the new Nylatron Main Drive Gear, 115T, MOD1.0, and the full KDE Direct TREX 700N Electronic Conversion LXKit to handle the power. All parts are standard production KDE Direct designs and are available now at www.KDEDirect.com.

  • The setup is 12S, running Outrage NRG 35C 6S1P-5000mAh packs in series. The motor comes down in the 160F range, which is cool for an Inrunner (the windings are on the outside, magnet core in the center) under these flight conditions and the design incorporates an internal fan and cooling fins/shroud setup to keep things cool and efficient..
