  • ok i got my cold air intake for my 2000 v6 mustang a long time ago about 10 months ago. Its a BBK cai and im pretty sure they gave me the wrong air filter but i installed it anyway. I literally had to ram the thing into my car. Anyone think i should buy a replacement filter to fit into my car correctly? Anyone think the bigger air filter is actually not giving me full potential since its probabley oddly shaped in my air filter area?

  • @XSoulscarz53X I had to force mine in a little yea. It may just be how theyre made.

  • hey i just put the same cold air intake on as u and im concered about driving it in the rain. the air filter is in the fenderwell next to the front tire... should i be concered?

  • no because theres a splash gaurd between the tire and the intake. Its the big rubber black fender well.

  • what kind of results did you get from just the CAI

  • nothing really

  • ..and you spelled my youtube screen name wrong-LOL

  • whoa lol-I did a test with it in this exact aftermarket part b/c it fitted well in the piping. I know that in stock rubber intake hoses they start to wooberjaw. However, I tested it in the aftermarket and it still created a restriction. I just wanted to break a myth of the part. Besides my dad had it-lol. I did not pay a -

  • @jonv92 cai actually improves your gas mileage, and also increases hp and torgue by about 10%,

  • @Jamishxc24 i put this on my v6 and it made it a lot louder and faster..not good on gas tho

  • @mustangfan00 yo did your CAI filter fit in properly? i have the same one and i think my air filter was too big. i literally had to ram the thing in my air filter area for my mustang. Did yours just slip right in (air filter)?

  • @CRaZshredd3r I was referring to Maverikhawk55

Even the swirl type spacers are pointless because it still has to hit the intake valve before it enters the combustion chamber.
