Did you choose sword for this battle?

I chose shield, with the guard ability I just ran up to him and keep blocking his attacks. No damage received at all.

I loved that fact about KH1.... Mostly because people who speed run through the game shouldn't be rewarded.

It used to scare the crap out of me how he just keeps walking towards you like a horror movie villain.

But you can tell he got pissed towards the middle of the vid, because he started sprinting for a second. LOL.
