This Jacobs powered Cessna 195 has not been started for about eight months. The summer rains got into the distributor and coil so that had to be replaced. After repairing the distributor with the kit from Butterfly Aero the 195 starts way better then it did before. The first trys the plugs were all oil fouled then i ran the battery dead.

  • @hawker445 Oh well thats to bad we have a 1948 cessna 195 to with the 330 jacobs in it.best flying plane ever!!

  • @pdowty68 Your flight school must have poorly maintained 150's.. I never have had troubled starting one, usually always turns over on the first crank. Continental O-200's is a good reliable engine.

  • Stable video, quality HD, decent mic... Awesome. Thanks!!!

  • @ATCrider13 costs alot for hangars nowadays. There is a waiting list of about maybe 6 months average for a hangar

  • Very very nice. Does the factory front cowl still fit over that engine?

  • Fast forward to 1:50 for the actual start.

  • For some reason, I wouldn't fly in it

  • Y dont you hanger it??

  • thats about how long it takes my flight schools 150's and 152's to start. I actually, for some reason get joy out of it when my plane takes long to start,ps i have flown N666X, everyone at my flight school calls it the devils airplane, which it is...

  • Gotta love ol' Shakey Jake!
