  • Oh man, what a SOUND WHAT A SOUND :-D

  • The whistle you can here is the super charger .. the spit has it too but its a lower tone : ) i get to see spits a lot living here in england hehe we have 2 airworth lancasters as well ... awesome aircraft

  • At 3:20 you almost expect to see tracers coming out of the 109 as it is bearing down on the spit.

  • at the 1:44 mark you can hear the guy on the loud speaker say what sounds like "it's one of only 2 in the world with the original engine". At least that's what it sounds like. If that is the case I can't believe they are actually still flying this piece of history.

  • It's awesome seeing the two old adversaries sitting side by side.

  • As far as I know it has a Daimler Benz engine with supercharger. That engine has a peculiar whistling sound, just beautiful.

  • 5 *****

  • I see that 109 has a stock cowling/engine nacelle...does it still have an actual Daimler-Benz engine??

  • very very very good!!! it's very beautiful !!!

  • absolute chills down my spine seeing this, that 109 is more beautiful then any girl out there
