Da Public's Eye bio:
When a true superstar breaks on the scene demonstrating serious talent on multiple levels, all that can be done is to stand back in anticipation of what is next to come. Jason "Da Public's Eye" Stanley is an eccentric artist that represent the next wave of musical fusion transcending varies genres of music, from hip hop to funk.
Having already stirred up noise with the lead single off his third release "Army Wife", which shows off the Maxton, North Carolina natives vast versatility and charisma it's undeniable the mass appeal Da Public's Eye garners. The lead track is just a taste of what Da Public's Eye has to offer as he continues to penetrate the the ears of his fans with his latest album "I Am U", due to be released this fall.
No stranger to adversity Da Public's Eye has long sense understood that "life is never clear cut, that bad things happen to good people and each day you do nothing a part of you dies". This was never clearer to him than when his right hand man Donte "Hogg Boogie" Monroe was murdered, music was a journey they started together not having him there put a halt to Da Public's Eye's dreams of becoming an artist. However, after two years of mourning, soul searching, and revisiting his relationship with God, Da Public's Eye began to reconnect with the art of music and the passion he had since he began putting his name in other artist songs at the age 11. Out of a tragic turn of events sparked a new level of determination for music that far surpassed just listening to it. It was at that point to he decided to pursue a career that many small town natives would only see as a dream. Da Public's Eye began to enter ciphers in and around his hometown, using his non traditional style and ability to paint vivid pictures with lyrical wordplay, he quickly gained street notoriety and reigned steady as "Cypher Champion". Knowing the spotlight of his success reached far beyond Maxton, Da Public's Eye honed his skills and perfected his unique delivery technique to create a sound that could not be classified.
With the releasing his first mixtape, "I'm Bout My Bizne$$", in 2005 which spawn him to be a household name, Da Public's Eye remained focused on the music. The project featured eleven tracks of pure fire, which drew from life experiences ultimately helping to define his audience as well as transcend all boundaries. Following the success of "I'm Bout My Bizne$$ and the overwhelming growth of his fan-base, Da Public's Eye upped the ante with his self titled follow up "Da Public's Eye". The release did not disappoint, it propelled Da Public's Eye to new heights and the music industry began to take notice. It was shortly after his continued success and progression that Da Public's Eye begin to truly understand the business side of music, and took the necessary steps to ensure his brand was protected.
After years of putting in work independently Da Public's Eye understands his value as an artist and a business man, therefore it is no surprise that his first television appearance was aired on BET. In a industry that is forever changing and looking for the next big thing, Da Public's Eye continues to use his raw talent in collaboration with his self taught elements of musical production and videography to enhance his forthcoming projects. When asked about the pivotal moments or highlights of his career he responded "not being able to define a pivotal moment in my career is intentional, because I feel that when you can pinpoint or have reached that point in your career there is so much room for downfall. I don't plan on coming down, thats why I strive to reach farther and wider in anything I do."
Make no mistake, while Da Public's Eye is ready to kick-start his run up the charts it is his humility and continuous grind intensity that will keep him there. Teaming up innovative producers such as 2480 Productions, DJ Amazing, Jonathan Baker and Midas alongside vocal coach and writer Rodney Jordan on his upcoming album promises to launch Da Public's Eye to new levels. From the smooth grooves of "Justify" and the electric palpitations of "Driven", both of which will have the dance floor jumping Da Public's Eye proves he is not only an artist but an all around entertainer on and off the stage.
