@MrSirlulzalot Don't quite understand what you're talking about. Kid? Homework? Did my time in Nam and don't need to do do any homework. It's etched in my mind forever pal.

@TheRidersChoice I'm jealous. If I could live my life over again I would do exactly what you are doing. Good luck to you and stay safe.

@nikofazz hell yea! Im in Marine OCS hoping to be a fighter pilot! Marine Corps pilots are the best! We are the only ones who appreciate what its like to be on the ground like you and can get in closer than anybody else!

@nikofazz Be quiet kid and do your homework!

the phantom...is my all-time favorite fighter jet......the only jet to be used by the thunderbirds and the blue angels at the same time......the only jet that was used by all branches of US services.......I was in the army during desert storm.....and it was the last real combat role they had.......mainly air national guard units were asigned them by that time.....long live the f-4!!!!!

What a fantastic looking aircraft.

@Zyworski Yeah I thougth it was more of a strategic bomber! It later had a gun which helped it alot but yeah it was more like a bomber. Too bad they did not have the 15 or 14 back then in Nam for that Fighter role, Navy to AF! That would have been bad azz! Still the PHANTOM was great for it's time and I love it, one of the bets Jets built IMO.
Friendly napalm strike inbound!

When I was in Nam, I really felt a lot better when I saw these bad boys coming in and could hear the rummble of the B52's way up and out of sight. I was Army but I'm thankful for the Navy & Marines and their great pilots.
